Biz Capital Depot LLC (“Biz Capital Depot,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) gives you choices about how your personal information is used. This page explains how to make a privacy request and how to opt out of marketing communications. More detail is available in our Privacy Policy.
1. Requests You Can Make
Depending on your state of residence and applicable law, you may ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we have collected about you and how we use it
- Provide a copy of your personal information
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions
- Stop selling or sharing your personal information, or using it for targeted advertising
- Limit the use of your sensitive personal information
- Stop sending you marketing emails, calls, or text messages
2. How to Submit a Request
Email contact@bizcapitaldepot.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line, or call (800) 276-8870. Please include:
- Your full name
- The email address and telephone number you used with us
- The type of request you are making
- Your state of residence
Do not send Social Security numbers, card numbers, bank account numbers, or copies of identification documents by email. If we need additional information to verify your identity, we will contact you and explain how to provide it securely.
You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf where permitted by law. We may ask the agent for proof of authorization and may ask you to verify your identity directly.
3. How We Respond
We will confirm receipt of your request and respond within the time required by applicable law, generally within 45 days. If we deny your request in whole or in part, we will explain why and, where required by law, tell you how to appeal our decision. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
Some information may be retained where we are required or permitted to keep it by law, for example to maintain financial records, prevent fraud, or resolve disputes. Information already provided to independent Financing Providers is subject to their own privacy policies, and requests about that information may need to be made directly to them.
4. Marketing Opt-Outs
- Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email us.
- Text messages: reply STOP to any text message.
- Calls: tell our representative, or email or call us, and we will add your number to our internal do-not-call list.
5. Cookies and Browser Signals
You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. Some website features may not function properly without cookies. Where required by law, we treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal sent by your browser as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information associated with that browser.
6. Notice to Vermont Residents
If you are a Vermont resident, we will not share nonpublic personal information about you with nonaffiliated third parties, other than as permitted by Vermont law, unless you authorize us to do so, such as when you ask us to submit your application to a Financing Provider.
